Join us in DC this week to make polluters pay taxes

Did you see, hear and feel the action this weekend? Between 3 and 5 million people are estimated to have turned out this weekend for the Hands Off rallies. But Trump and his MAGA minions still aren’t getting the message.

This week the oiligarchs are working hand-in-hand with Trump and Republicans in Congress on a budget agenda that will take more money out of your pockets to poison our climate and communities. If you’re in or near Washington DC this week, join our friends at Center for Popular Democracy and others to make polluters pay taxes!

We’ve been telling you for weeks about the fossil fueled fascist takeover of our government. Billionaires and Oiligarchs have captured our government at the highest level. Last weekend millions of us flooded the streets at more than 1,300 peaceful protests in all 50 states, territories, plus a dozen locations globally. Together we turned out to demand an end to the fossil fuel fascist reign of Trump and Musk.

Turnout far exceeded expectations, everywhere, including in Washington DC, where we broadcast a livestream of the event featuring many members of Congress and frontline leaders fighting Trump and Musk’s attempts to harm everyday people in America. But it’s action this week by Congress that could advance a $5 trillion budget boondogle that will bankrupt our climate and communities to pay for even more and bigger tax breaks for billionaires and polluting corporations.

Join the DC actions this week to speak out and fight back against Congress’ Budget boondogle – and no matter where you live get ready for more actions and events this April as we take action from Tax day to Earth day, and then Earth Day to May Day to stop Trump and his climate and community wrecking plans.

Stay tuned for more info on these and other upcoming events, and join us in DC this week on Wednesday for an action and speak out & on Thursday to join members of Congress for a rally and press conference.
